Responsibilities:

The Legal Recruiting Assistant will support the New York Office Legal Recruiting Department with a variety of aspects related to entry-level recruiting and the summer associate program.

Entry-Level Recruiting:

Upload candidate data into ATS, and ensure data is maintained and accurate.
Assist with interviewing logistics.
Schedule callback interviews, collect interview evaluations and prepare packets for review.
Assist with follow-up efforts.
Assist with planning and execution of offer receptions.
Work with law school student groups to execute recruiting initiatives.
Assist with all aspects of 1L, 2L, 3L, clerk and LLM hiring.

Summer Associate Program:

Assist with summer program events, including creating calendar invitations, tracking RSVPs, and attending assigned events.
Prepare materials for summer associate reviews.
Conduct check-in meetings with summer associates and respond to any inquiries.
Additional summer program projects as assigned by Legal Recruiting Managers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of one year of work experience at a mid-sized or large law firm, career services or other professional services industry is preferred.
Proficiency in the use of computer programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to recognize confidential information and to maintain confidentiality of such information.
Ability to work efficiently independently as well as within a team.
Highly-motivated with strong initiative skills.
