Kasowitz  Benson Torres LLP is looking to hire a Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator. Responsibilities and qualifications are below:


  • Minimum ~three years law firm or similar, related experience
  • Significant role in lateral and clerk recruitment
  • Various aspects of Summer Program, Fall Recruiting and Incoming Associates
  • Liaise with headhunters and school placement officers
  • Various recruitment surveys
  • Supervisory skills
  • Event planning experience (create, develop, organize, execute)
  • Ability to lead and maintain departmental processes and projects
  • Statistical analysis on a various recruiting metrics
  • Experience working with monthly and annual budget


  • Bachelor degree required
  • Ability to organize, multitask, manage, maintain and prioritize departmental processes/projects, deadlines and projects effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and judgment regarding sensitive matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of legal and non-legal staff, candidates, headhunters, school placement officers
  • Must be highly motivated, exhibit creativity in approach to work, flexible and detail/results-oriented
  • Flexibility to limited travel and extended hours to meet needs of department
  • Maintain and research market industry standards
  • Display an interest in and commitment to the firm’s success
  • Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of LawCruit and SharePoint and ability to learn new software and operating systems
