Overview:

Latham & Watkins, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world, is seeking a Global Coordinator- Attorney Development to join our dynamic team in our New York, Washington, D.C. or Chicago office.

Responsibilities:

As a Global Coordinator - Attorney Development, you will be responsible for supporting the Directors and Managers of Global Attorney Development and other members of the Attorney Development team, largely by supporting the committees that oversee the firm’s associates, counsel and income partners. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Manager of Global Attorney Development on all aspects of the associate secondment program, including periodic data analytic projects and the intersection of the secondment program with the Associates Committee’s semi-annual associate review process
  • Working with the Directors and Managers, as well as other members of the Global Attorney Development team to assist with the semi-annual associate review process for the Associates Committee and the annual partner and counsel review process for the Income Partner & Counsel (IPAC) Committee
  • Assisting with the annual progression processes for the Associates and IPAC Committees, including coordinating an intensive schedule of in-person and videoconference meetings
  • Planning semi-annual, in-person committee meetings, working directly with members of the firm’s Events team and with the hosting office’s Guest Services, Facilities, and Technology teams

Qualifications:

  • Organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance processes
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm

And have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of two (2) years of related administrative experience
