Based in New York or Washington, D.C., the Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration Manager will be responsible for managing the lateral partner recruitment function on a firm-wide basis.  In addition, will assist the department in carrying out other various lateral partner-related programs and functions, and other project management as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the Chief of Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration on all aspects of lateral partner recruiting.
  • Partners with firm leadership to drive strategic lateral growth objectives.
  • Manages, trains and develops the Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration Coordinator and Assistant.
  • Tracks the firm’s pipeline of candidates in various stages of the process and provides regular updates for the purposes of keeping firm leadership informed.
  • Serves as point of contact for candidates, recruiters, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manages interview process for lateral partner candidates.
    Implements strategies to source, recruit and hire lateral partner candidates.
  • Manages the applicant tracking process.
  • Prepares meeting materials and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Gathers market intelligence on firms and candidates.
  • Develops and maintains search firm relationships to share the firm’s brand, goals, strategies, and desired targets in each market.
  • Works closely with HR, finance, local admin teams, business development, and communication teams to coordinate lateral’s arrival.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Additional Information:

  • The position requires a minimum of five years of related experience in a law firm or professional service firm, and a college or university degree.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation range for this position is $150-180K (New York) and $140-170k (Washington, D.C.). The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
