Overview:

Dentons US LLP is seeking a Legal Recruitment Coordinator to join its highly collaborative Legal Recruiting team. The New York Coordinator will work closely with Legal Recruitment Managers across our US offices and practice groups, supporting lateral, entry level, and student recruiting, including the Summer Associate Program. This position is well suited for a detail oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast paced, high volume recruiting environment and is eager to build a long-term career in legal recruitment. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Coordinate attorney and student interview schedules, managing logistics for high volume virtual and in person interviews, and tracking and collecting interviewer feedback

Provide administrative support, including preparing correspondence, maintaining candidate files, facilitating conflicts and background checks, and drafting offer letters

Serve as a key point of contact for student recruiting in the New York office, including outreach to law school career services and participation in on campus and local recruiting events

Lead and execute the Summer Associate Program for the New York office, including event planning and attendance, work assignment coordination, feedback tracking, and expense monitoring

Draft and distribute internal communications related to recruiting initiatives, including interview schedules, reminders, student recruiting opportunities, and event invitations

Support pre boarding activities to ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance through onboarding

Maintain accurate and up to date candidate records in applicant tracking systems (LawCruit and MyDentons)

Manage invoicing, tracking, and reporting, and assist with recruiting related expense processing

Collaborate closely with Legal Recruiting, HR, and business stakeholders

Perform additional duties as needed to support the Legal Recruiting Department

Qualifications:

Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of two years of legal recruiting experience, preferably within a law firm or similarly fast paced professional services environment

Experience coordinating recruiting efforts across multiple offices and practice groups strongly preferred

A solid understanding of law firm structures and attorney recruiting processes is a plus

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and high recruiting volumes with accuracy, discretion, and strong attention to detail

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills, with confidence interacting with attorneys and senior stakeholders

Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours to support recruiting events and firm needs

High level of professionalism and discretion due to the confidential nature of attorney recruiting

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required

Experience with applicant tracking systems required; LawCruit experience strongly preferred
