Overview:

The role will provide general administrative assistance and support to the Legal Recruiting department, for all aspects of attorney recruitment, primarily the summer program and entry-level recruitment administration. The duration of this temporary assignment is expected to be approximately 5-6 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the summer law clerk and entry-level recruitment programs, including assigned duties related to on-campus recruiting.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, creating/maintaining electronic files, and preparing correspondence.
  • Assist in the scheduling of candidate interviews.
  • Prepare materials for on-campus interviews.
  • Respond to and direct candidate inquiries.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of in-person and virtual summer law clerk events and programming, including tracking of RSVPs, assembling gifts, and finalizing last-minute details.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining inventory of gifts and giveaway items.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned pertaining to on-campus recruitment and the summer program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Six months previous experience in a professional office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed
  • Must be independently legally authorized to work in the United States
