Overview:

The Manager will report to the Firm’s Director of Legal Recruiting and assist in the management and supervision of the recruiting staff in all aspects of hiring summer associates and lateral associates and plan the Firm’s Summer Program for the New York office. The Manager will also liaise with recruiting staff in other U.S. offices.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Prepare for and attend weekly Hiring Committee meetings

·         Schedule candidate interviews and collect interviewer feedback

·         Maintain applicant tracking database and generate reports and analyze statistics for the production of charts

·         Organize and maintain documentation related to the hiring process including coordinate correspondence with candidates, track candidate travel expenses, and screen resumes

·         Participate in firm-wide recruiting initiatives, activities, and meetings

·         Plan and implement the summer program including working closely with Summer Program Committee Co-Chairs and members; track assignments and evaluations; and coordinate mid-summer and end-of-summer reviews and offer meetings

·         Collect recruiting data and respond to surveys from the American Lawyer, Chambers Associate, NALP and other organizations

·         Coordinate with the Business Development Team to create a marketing strategy and materials for law student outreach

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree required

·         5+ years of attorney recruiting experience, preferably in a large firm setting

·         Excellent interpersonal skills

·         Impeccable written and oral communication skills

·         Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

·         Display leadership, intelligence, and initiative and have the ability to maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality in all department and Firm matters and otherwise exercise impeccable judgment
