Overview:

We are seeking a recruiting coordinator to join our energetic, hard-working, supportive and fun recruiting team!  This is a great opportunity for a current recruiting assistant to take their career to the next level, with a primary focus on law student recruiting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruiting department in all aspects of the planning and execution of the student interview process, summer program and campus outreach.
  • Serve as an ambassador for SRZ with law students, summer associates, career placement professionals, vendors and others.
  • Build strategic relationships with student organizations at key law schools.
  • Coordinate logistics for and attend campus recruiting events.
  • Serve as a role model and point of contact to summer associates.
  • Conceive of, plan and attend summer program events.
  • Oversee logistics for OCI interviews, callback interviews and the offer process.
  • Maintain an organized electronic file system, applicant tracking system and virtual interview database.
  • Ensure accuracy, data integrity and confidentiality for all applicants.
  • Own the general department email inbox, monitoring frequently and taking appropriate action on correspondence.
  • Prepare composite electronic applicant packets for hiring committee meetings.
  • Greet law student candidates, conduct interview wrap-ups and engage in follow up post-offer.
  • Solicit candidate feedback from attorneys.
  • Stay up to date on market research and law school recruitment policies.
  • Assist with special projects and produce statistical reports as needed.
  • Assist with lateral recruiting on an as needed basis.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the legal recruiting team.

Qualifications:

  • BA degree and at least one year of legal recruiting experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Ability to operate autonomously and as part of a high-functioning team
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed
