Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, a leading national law firm, is seeking to fill a Recruiting & Legal Personnel Coordinator position. The Recruiting & Legal Personnel Coordinator will have firm-wide recruiting and professional development responsibilities as part of the Legal Personnel Department. The position interacts most closely with the Recruiting & Legal Personnel Manager and Professional Development Manager. The hours are M-F 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., but flexibility to work additional hours is required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and manage the summer associate program; coordinate on-campus recruiting efforts and the in-office interview process for law students; screen resumes, schedule interviews and handle all related logistics of lateral associate recruiting initiatives; maintain candidate database; manage candidate, law school and search firm relationships; prepare annual reports and internal analysis of recruitment efforts; assist with semi-annual associate review process; and plan and execute social and morale events. Additional related responsibilities as directed by department management.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, 1-3 years of comparable experience, and prior experience in a law firm or professional services firm strongly preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills, discretion, good judgment, tact and poise. Ability to take initiative and juggle multiple priorities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be team oriented. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
